Pew Charitable Trusts shows major biofuel investment in emerging markets

In Washington, a new report from the Pew Charitable Trusts looks at renewable energy investment in emerging markets, with Peru leading the way with $749 million between 2009-13 out of a total $2.25 billion in biofuel investment in the top five countries. Other major destinations for biofuel investment included Thailand with $639 million and Vietnam with $287 million. Kenya and Ukraine completed the top five.
