Nebraska governor signs bill to help convert vehicles to alternative fuels

In Nebraska, the governor has signed into law the Nebraska Clean-Burning Motor Fuel Development Act that sets aside $500,000 for alternative fuel vehicles, reimbursing car owners up to $4,500 for converting a vehicle to liquefied natural gas (LNG) or compressed natural gas (CNG), propane autogas, hydrogen fuel cells, or gasoline containing 15 percent ethanol or more.
