USDA says April corn consumption for ethanol down 7% on month

In Washington, the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service says corn consumption for ethanol production in April was 3% higher than in February but down 7% from March at 409.0 million bushels. DDGS production mirrored the pattern at 1.69 million tons. Corn for other uses was at just under 45 million bushels.
