Mitr Phol to invest $30 million to expand ethanol production

In Thailand, Mitr Phol plans to dedicate $130 million to renewable energy investments with $30 million going towards expanding existing ethanol production at its Kalasin province distillery to 1.45 million liters a day from 1.2 million. Another $89 million will go towards biomass power projects. Investments include solar rooftops as well as dry yeast from ethanol production.
