CropEnergies sees the light at the end of the European ethanol market tunnel

In Germany, CropEnergies has boosted its view of the European ethanol market following a positive first quarter where higher ethanol prices boosted the company from the doldrums into a minor profit. Part of those profits come from lower operating costs due to a mothballed Teeside, UK ethanol plant mixed with higher ethanol prices resulting from less supply on the market.
