Raizen transports first biodiesel shipment by rail

In Brazil, Raizen has completed its first shipment of biodiesel by rail, from Rondonópolis to Paulina, taking advantage of reverse logistics—railcars that would otherwise be empty after transporting fossil fuels, taking advantage of cheaper rates to move the biodiesel in the opposite direction.
