India goes for B20 in ports as new palm oil waste biodiesel plant comes online

In India, Emami Group has recently set up a 300 ton per day multi-feedstock biodiesel facility at Haldia with Desmet Ballestra. Feedstocks include palm oil residues. The company is working with the government to boost use of biodiesel in ports, railways and across the transport sector who announced up to 20% blending at 12 major ports. It is also expanding processing at its sunflower oil facility.
