Ensus ethanol plant likely to remain shuttered until 2017

In the UK, the Ensus ethanol plant that has been mothballed since February is likely to remain shut until 2017. Owner CropEnergies plans to invest EUR40 million in upgrades so the facility is operation when it opens up again, but has to shed 22 of 98 jobs in order to make the books balance.
