USDA sees higher Argentine biodiesel exports to US in 2016

July 7, 2015 |

In Argentina, biodiesel exports have found a home in the US with volumes growing and expectations of more in 2016, but stricter criteria on imports may hamper those ambitions. The USDA expects Argentine biodiesel exports to recover to more than 1 billion liters in 2016 from the 890 million liters it expects to see exported this year. Exports to the US could reach 625 million liters in 2015 and 750 million in 2016.
