Western New York Energy to nearly double corn storage capacity with new silo

In New York state, Western New York Energy is investing $2 million in a new 810,000 bushel corn silo to compliment the two 500,000 bushel silos it already has co-located at its ethanol plant in Orleans County. The state’s Economic Development Agency is providing an $80,000 grant to facilitate the investment.
