Indonesia to implement its palm oil export levies at last on Thursday

In Indonesia, the country on Thursday will implement its long-expected levy on palm oil exports to help fund subsidies for increased biodiesel blending of up to 5 cents per liter. The policy, released in March, will see exporters pay $50 per ton for crude palm oil and $30 for processed palm oil products.
