Hindustan Petroleum inaugurates biodiesel blend facility co-located at oil depot

In India, the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has introduced a biodiesel blending program for its own vehicles following the inauguration of its blending facility at the Visakh White Oil Terminal, the first in the country sited at an oil facility.

In the Netherlands, the biodiesel premium for RED RME in Northeast Europe fell to $341/mt Monday, the lowest in five weeks. Rapeseed based biodiesel is better in colder temperatures so less is required for blendstock during warmer weather. More supply is expected soon as the rapeseed harvest nears, adding pressure to prices.
