European T2 ethanol gets near to five-year premium over Eurobob

In the Netherlands, the premium for European T2 ethanol over Eurobob gasoline hit near the five-year high of $232.74/cu m thanks to continued tightness in the European ethanol market. Gasoline barge prices have been weakening, hitting the lowest since February 11, when they were assessed at $534.25/mt. The high premium is expected to have little or no effect on the market overall.
