Kenya introduces stricter ethanol trading policies to limit smuggling

In Kenya, the Kenya Revenue Authority has announced new regulations for the trade of ethanol will come into force from Sept. 1 with the intention of curbing illegal smuggling. All would be users of ethanol must declare their estimated consumption on a quarterly basis, cargoes will be tracked electronically and all imports by sea must be processed through the Port of Mombasa.
