August 24, 2015 |

In Kentucky, nearly 100 protestors walked a total of 20 city blocks in Louisville to protest a proposed $40 million methane plant planned for the west of the city where spent grains from whiskey production would be used as feedstock. Community protestors have allegedly stalled plans for a similar plant in another part of town that would use food waste as feedstock.
