Syngenta releases two new Enogen hybrids for 2016

August 25, 2015 |

In Switzerland, Syngenta has released 63 new hybrid corn seeds for 2016, including two new Enogen hybrids for improving ethanol production yields. The Enogen hybrids as well as the other new seed releases were developed using the company’s Yield Engineering System (Y.E.S.) that combines intelligent analytics, testing and technology to help get hybrids to market faster. The new hybrids include three traits meant to help farmers boost yields, including protection against specific pests such as corn ear worm and western bean cutworm and more efficient water use.
