EPA data shows RFS biodiesel demand continues to push production levels

August 26, 2015 |

In Washington, data from the EPA shows that biomass-based diesel production grew month-on-month for the fifth time in a row in July at 192.68 million gallons, up 15 million gallons over June, some 9%. So far, biodiesel production through July is already 113 gallons higher than during the same period last year. The push in biodiesel production is a result of the demand generated from the EPA’s release of 2014 through 2016 biofuel blending levels.
