Ethanol production falls to lowest since May 8

August 27, 2015 |

In the Midwest, the Energy Information Agency says ethanol production slipped to its lowest level last week since May 8 at 954,000 barrels per day on average. Despite the fall in production, stocks were higher around the country except for the major production center in the Midwest and Gulf Coast stocks where more exports originate from. The blend wall is creeping ever nearer at 9.85% last week, just 15 points down from the 10% barrier for low level blends.
