In Ohio, Agro BioFuels and BioEnergy, a joint venture between the US arm of India’s Agro Pulping Machinery and JatDiesel, is set to invest $11 million in a 15 million gallon per year biodiesel plant near Dayton. The facility will be mixed feedstock using plant and animal oils and fats. The company has already addressed pollution and odor concerns for the community’s planning commission and hopes to get final city council approval in September while USDA approvals are expected by the end of the year.
