In Missouri, a fire has torn through the biodiesel plant in Bunceton, forcing the evacuation of the small town due to the fumes and high heat levels of the fire. The facility was one of the last remaining prosperous businesses in the town. A containment plan was in place for the runoff oils that was collected and taken to the Department of Natural Resources for disposal. The facility is owned by Missouri Better Bean. At the time of the fire, the plant had little fuel on hand.
