Lakeview Biodiesel to invest $5 million in newly acquired Missouri facility thanks to USDA

September 2, 2015 |

In Missouri, Lakeview Biodiesel plans to invest nearly $5 million to upgrade the 10 million gallon former Producer’s Choice Soy Energy facility in Moberly it recently bought, thanks to a $3.3 million loan guarantee from the USDA Rural Energy for America Program. The company says it is looking to expand in the area thanks to the abundance of trained people in the region. Lakeview Energy already owns two biofuel plants in Iowa and Ohio with a combined production capacity of 132 million gallons.
