In Germany, the national biodiesel quality management association AGQM is preparing to being round robin tests of pharmaceutical glycerol much in the same way they have undertaken such tests for biodiesel since 1999. The tests will check test methods and proper laboratory handling. Demand is growing for high quality pharmaceutical glycerol beyond previous lower-quality markets for the biodiesel byproduct such as cosmetics and technology. Those who would like to register for the tests can do so at http://rrt.agqm-biodiesel.com.
