Digest Bioeconomy Index drops to 53.49 as large caps and ethanol equities fall

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dropped 1.06 to 53.49 as large caps and ethanol equities fell. For the day, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) dumped 7.46 percent to $7.82, while Codexis (CDXS) jumped 5.14 percent to $3.68. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) shed 4.39 percent to $6.86. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
