Digest Bioeconomy Index edges up to 54.41 as enzymes advance

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, edged up 0.24% to 54.41 as enzymes advanced. For the day, Abengoa (ABGB) gained 5.46 percent to $5.77, while Codexis (CDXS) surged 7.81 percent to $3.82. Among other equities, BioAmber (BIOA) shed 2.33 percent to $5.45. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
