Hydrous ethanol parity in Brazil holds steady after last week’s recovery

September 18, 2015 |

In Brazil, the price parity for gasoline with hydrous ethanol in Brazil’s south east region is holding steady at 61.4%, the same as last week, the highest seen since February. Hydrous ethanol prices recently reached the season’s highest price at $22.7 per ton. Recent rains in the sugarcane regions have led to crushing delays and resulting ethanol supply availability. Hydrous ethanol production reached .1617 billion liters, up 44% on last year and 2% on July.
