Digest Bioeconomy Index drops to 53.05 as global equities sag

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, shed 2.19 percent to 53.05 as global equities sagged. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) lost 6.38 percent to $2.20, while Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 8.16 percent to $2.59. Among other equities, Aemetis (AMTX) was down 6.94 percent to $3.42.
