Algenol signs deal with new Chinese partner to develop projects in southern region

In Washington state, Algenol has signed an agreement with Fujian Zhongyuan New Energy Company, an R&D company founded in 2007 focused on development of alcohol-ethers, to develop projects throughout southern China. The deal was signed in Seattle as part of the Chinese president’s weeklong trip to the US.  Power plants, steel mills and chemical factories in the Fujian province and throughout the rest of the southern region will be main targets for the first project.
