Digest Bioeconomy Index falls 0.53 percent to 52.34 as chemicals slump

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, fell 0.53 percent to 52.34 as chemicals slumped. For the day, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) jumped 5.04 percent to $8.55., while Cosan (CZZ) rebounded 7.27 percent to $2.95. Among other equities, Metabolix (MBLX) weakened 10.86 percent to $1.76. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
