Arterran Renewables releases new drop in coal replacement

In Arizona, Arterran Renewables presents society with a new, disruptive innovation, Thermocatalytic Transformation, able to produce renewable, sustainable base load energy as the world’s 1st ‘drop in’ replacement for thermal coal. The company says the biofuel is far superior to wood pellets, with a 50% increased energy density of 12,200 btu/lb rivaling the highest grades of coal, again without the pollution of coal.

Arterran’s platform requirements are small, modular and thus can be designed for any size output required. Our feed stock is not dependent solely on wood, unlike wood pellets, as we are also able to utilize manure, municipal solid waste or any source with a suitable amount of cellulose content.
