US ethanol production jumps 7K barrels/day to 14.65 billion gallon annual rate
In Washington, according to EIA data as analyzed by the Renewable Fuels Association, ethanol production averaged 950,000 barrels per day—or 39.90 million gallons daily. That is up 7,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 948,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 14.53 billion gallons. Year-to-date output rates have averaged 14.65 billion gallons annualized. Stocks of ethanol stood at 18.8 million barrels. That is a 0.2% increase from last week. Imports of ethanol were 17,000 b/d, up from zero last week and the third time in the last six weeks that imports have registered. Gasoline demand for the week averaged 376.2 million gallons (8.958 million barrels) daily. Refiner/blender input of ethanol averaged 882,000 b/d. Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 10.61%.
