Digest Bioeconomy Index edges down 0.28 percent to 54.28 despite a chemicals rebound

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, edged down 0.28 percent to 54.28 despite a chemicals rebound. For the day, Syngenta (SYT) was up 6.18 percent to $69.12, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) tumbled 5.09 percent to $7.54. Among other equities, Metabolix (MBLX) regained 9.54 percent to $3.10. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
