October 29, 2015 |

In Canada, C3 Acquisition plans to install two electric generators that it will power with used cooking, grease and fats to produce 500kw that will be sold to the national grid under a feed in tariff. A public hearing is being held in Smith Falls where the facility is planned in order to secure the required permits. The project has already signed a 20-year FIT with the Ontario Power Authority. On site storage will include tanks for up to 80,000 liters for fuel production.
