Digest Bioeconomy Index gains 1.15 percent to 55.63 as advanced bio equities surge

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 1.15 percent to 55.63 as advanced bio equities surged. For the day, Green Plains (GPRE) gained 8.52 percent to $22.66, while Amyris (AMRS) jumped 6.98 percent to $1.84. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) lifted 5.72 percent to $6.47. Overall, advances led declines by a 7 to 3 ratio for the day.
