Members of the Congressional Black Caucus send letter supporting the RFS

In Washington, 16 members of the Congressional Black Caucus sent a letter to EPA administrator Gina McCarthy last week urging her to not cut the Renewable Fuel Standard’s blending mandate when the final figures are released the end of November. The group highlighted the positive impacts the RFS has had on the economy as well as the improved air quality in urban areas that specifically impacts communities of color and the need to not stymy innovation that would later negatively impact job creation.
