Digest Bioeconomy Index falls 1.61 percent to 53.78 as advanced bio dips

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, fell 1.61 percent to 53.78 as advanced bio dipped. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) lost 5.76 percent to $4.25, while Solazyme (SZYM) dumped 6.73 percent to $3.05. Among other equities, Dyadic (DYAI) trimmed 6.88 percent to $1.49. Overall, declines led advances by a 8 to 5 ratio for the day.
