Donald Trump to release views on RFS in a few weeks but ethanol industry confident

In New Hampshire, Donald Trump says he’ll share his views on the RFS and ethanol mandates in a few weeks when he releases his policy report on the subject. Until then he’s sidestepping questions about the topic, but the ethanol industry feels confident that he is supportive of the policy and will continue to be so. Earlier this week, Democrats Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley and Republicans Chris Christie, Lindsay Graham, Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee and George Pataki were given the same “good” rating as Trump by America’s Renewable Future as being supportive of Iowa corn, ethanol and the RFS.
