Solenis buys Brazil’s Quimatec Produtos Químicos

In Brazil, Solenis LLC announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase 100 percent of the shares of Quimatec Produtos Químicos Ltda. and Locatec de Araraquara Ltda-Me. The transaction is expected to close by year end following receipt of customary regulatory approvals.

Quimatec’s customers will be able to utilize our water treatment products and services in the sugar industry, while Solenis will be able to take advantage of their process chemistries in our more traditional heavy industry markets.”
