EPA issues Cellulosic Waiver Credit Price at $1.33

In Washington, the Environmental Protection Agency has issued Cellulosic Waiver Credit Price Calculation for 2016 as laid out by EPA must reduce the required volume of cellulosic biofuel for that year to the projected volume, and must provide obligated parties the opportunity to purchase cellulosic waiver credits. It established the Cellulosic Waiver Credit price for 2016 at $1.33 based on calculations of the average wholesale (refinery gate) price of gasoline and inflation to determine the credit price.
