Digest Bioeconomy Index rebounds 1.65 percent to 53.46 as large caps improve

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, rebounded 1.65 percent to 53.46 as large caps improved. For the day, Syngenta (SYT) jumped 5.28 percent to $76.20 on continuing merger interest, while Evogene (EVGN) rebounded 8.24 percent to $7.09. Among other equities, Global Bioenergies (ALGBE.PA) dropped 7.07 percent to $31.00. Overall, advances led declines by a 4 to 3 ratio for the day.
