EPA says October RIN production up nearly 4% over September

In Washington, the Environmental Protection Agency said October RIN production grew nearly 4% on the month to 1.265 billion RINs, with D5 advanced biofuel RINs increasing the most at more than 50% growth to 12.26 million RINs generated during the month. Cellulosic biofuel D3 RINs fell slightly to 12,037,717 RINs, while D4 biomass diesel RINs increased slightly to 251.19 million RINs generated. So far, 2015 RIN production through October has reached 1.54 billion RINs, up nearly 10% on the year.
