December 3, 2015 |

In Uruguay, Alcoholes del Uruguay expects to produce more than 130 million liters of biofuels this year, the highest on record for the company. About 70 million liters is ethanol, thanks to the country’s largest ethanol plant coming online earlier this year, while the remaining production is biodiesel. The country currently has a blending mandate of B7 and E10. In total, the company expects to process more than 1 million metric tons of feedstocks for biofuel production this year.
