On the Move in the Bioeconomy: NBB elections, Cool Planet adds two

December 6, 2015 |

In Missouri, the National Biodiesel Board recently elected Ron Marr, Minnesota Soybean Processors as chairman, Jennifer Case, New Leaf Biofuel as vice-Chair, Greg Anderson, Nebraska Soybean Board as  treasurer and Kent Engelbrecht, ADM as secretary

“America’s advanced biofuel continues to make a significant impact to reduce carbon and support local jobs from Coast to Coast,” said NBB’s newly elected chair Ron Marr. “Right now our focus is on securing a long term producers incentive to support much needed competition in the distillate fuel market. Advocating for a strong and growing biodiesel market remains the National Biodiesel Board’s top priority, and I look forward to working with our board and members to expand biodiesel’s energy, environment and economic benefits even further.”

Over in Colorado, Cool Planet added Ed Anderson to its board of directors and Jim Bone to its technical advisory board. Anderson brings strong leadership from his experience in founding and growing North Bridge Partners, a Boston-based venture capital firm, while Bone brings 48 years of crop protection experience to Cool Planet’s technical advisory board, most recently in leading U.S. field development for DuPont Crop Protection, until retiring in 2011.
