Digest Bioeconomy Index falls 0.87 percent to 50.39 as chemicals retreat

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, fell 0.87 percent to 50.39 as chemicals retreated. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) settled back 13.89 percent to percent to $1.74, while Aemetis (AMTX) shed 3.98 percent to $2.17.  Among other equities, Cosan (CZZ) lost 4.97 percent to $3.44. Overall, declines led advances by a 11 to 2 ratio for the day.
