Brazilian crush speeds through H1 December with 790 million liters of ethanol

In Brazil, the sugarcane crush is continuing at pace despite nearing the end of the season with 790 million liters of ethanol produced during the first half of December, up from 498 million liters during the same period last year and down slightly from the last half of November when 881 million liters was produced. A total of 18 million metric tons of sugarcane was crushed during the period, up 77% from the first half of December 2014.
