US ethanol production drops to 40.86 million gallons per day

In Washington, according to EIA data, US ethanol production averaged 973,000 barrels per day —or 40.86 million gallons daily. That is down 27,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 980,500 b/d. Stocks of ethanol stood at 20.4 million barrels. That is a 0.32% increase from last week. Gasoline production for the 4-week period averaged 9.733 million barrels per day.
