Convenience stores seen more interested in E15

December 28, 2015 |

In Illinois, a survey of 942 fuel decision makers at convenience stores aged 18-64 in eight Midwest cities undertaken by Carbonview found an increased interest in E15, with 55% wanting to know more about the fuel, 44% of whom found it appealing, 35% who want to use it in their cars and nearly as many who find it “believable”. Price pays a major factor in consumer use of the fuel, with a 10 cents per gallon discount against E10 seeing as many as 60% of consumers willing to buy the fuel but only 38% if the fuel was priced the same as E10.
