China New Energy seals first North America deal and gets investment boost

In the UK, China New Energy has signed its first North America deal worth C$3 million and has closed a funding round for GBP200,000 to an unnamed private investor. The shares were sold at a discount of more than 20% to its listed stock price on the UK’s Alternative Investment Market. The additional working capital will be to help it open new markets in Europe as well as help fund its project work in Africa with Sunbird Bioenergy.
