Digest Bioeconomy Index gains 0.66 percent to 51.96 as ethanol equities soar

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, gained 0.66 percent to 51.96 as ethanol equities soared. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) rocketed up 43.08 percent to $2.72, whole Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) jumped 4.14 percent to $4.78.  Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) slumped 5.68 percent to $2.49. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
