Vietnam gets tougher on retailers who don’t implement E5

In Vietnam, Ho Chi Min City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Can Tho, the central provinces of Quang Nam and Quang Ngai and the southern province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau have been order to switch over to E5 completely and drop RON 92 gasoline at the pump from June. Other cities and regions have been strongly suggested to switch over at least half of their supplies to E5. The government has had a hard time getting retailers to switch over to E5 despite policy to support it.
