Digest Bioeconomy Index drops 2.57 percent to 46.56 as global equities tumble on more oil price concerns

The Digest Bioeconomy Index, an index of publicly traded advanced bioeconomy stocks, dropped 2.57 percent to 46.56 as global equities tumbled on more oil price concerns.  For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) dropped 18.60 percent to $1.40, while Biox (BX.T) plunged 26.67 percent to $0.56. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) dumped 10.28 percent to $0.35. Overall, declines led advances by a 7 to 2 ratio for the day.
